Nieuw Designs together with its first clothing range, Isikhulukhulu, was launched on 30 July 2022 in Boksburg.

We are super excited about this range; the focus for this first handmade range is ladies bush apparel. Yolandi together with her team designed this range to not only have you feel feminine in the bush but also stand out from the rest. Special design criteria followed to make this range super comfortable, very fashionable and truly unique for the ladies out there.

The Isikhulukhulu range will be extended to include men and children in the near future.

Yolandi, the founder of Nieuw Designs absolutely loves spending time with her family in the bush, whether just on holiday or out on a game drive or even joining a hunting trip.

The challenge that she always faced was getting her outfits together for every trip. Let’s be honest, very few ladies out there can really pull off a full camo outfit! We are never quiet and are actually created to stand out, why should we fit in the bush?

Yolandi used to spend hours online and in shops preparing for trips, not just for her but also for her little family, only to be disappointed at the end, either by orders being delayed or the quality of fabric and workmanship.

Sitting and talking to Andre, her husband, in a shop one morning and commenting once again that she is looking forward to the trip but that she has no idea where to find clothing to suit; he looked at her and said, “why not do it yourself?” Just there they decided that this will be their next venture, their own clothing line!

isiKhulukhulu is the first range being launched and covers the bushveld clothing line and will be available online and in selected boutiques and stores. Our main focus is the ladies range but we will also incorporate a men’s, girls, and boys range with the type of clothing her family loves in the bush.
